Advanced search results
The results are displayed under the same tab you make your search in.
eSearch displays a maximum of 15 results per page. To navigate to another page of search results, click on one of the page numbers you can see in the top right-hand corner or, to view the next page in order, click on one of the arrows the right or left arrow.
The total number of search results is displayed next to the tab heading, for example 197 search result(s) in 14 page(s) in 0.338 seconds. Information on the number of results, number of pages and the time taken to process the request is displayed above the results.
Depending on the search tab in question, icons or different options are displayed above the list of results:
- Set alert (Trade marks and Designs tabs)
Alerts can be set by clicking on this icon
. Read more about alerts here. - RSS feed (all tabs)
The option to subscribe to RSS feeds (in order to view frequently updated information) can be selected by clicking on the RSS icon
- PDF (all tabs)
The results on the page you are viewing can also be viewed in PDF format by clicking on the PDF icon
N.B.: Since the application is set by default to display a maximum of 15 results per page, the PDF will contain only the first 15 results. To compile a PDF with more results, navigate to the next page and click on the PDF icon again. Repeat this process as necessary. You can also re-set the application to display more results per page by using the drop-down menu to the right of the line containing the information on the number of results.
- vCard (Owners and Representatives tabs)
A vCard, which is a standard file format for electronic business cards, containing name, address, phone numbers, email and other contact information, can be accessed from the results section of the owners' tabs and representatives' tabs by clicking on the icon
on the right-hand side. - Filtering search results
The results of advanced searches can be filtered (click on 'See filters' on the right-hand side above the results) by pre-established criteria:
- for EU trade marks: EUTM and international trade mark registration status, publication section, Nice class and type of trade mark
- for registered Community designs: RCD status, Locarno class, publication section and country of owner
Refining your search
You can refine your search without going back to the advanced search screen by clicking one of the 'Features' listed in a column.
The search will be refined taking the new criterion into account. This step can be repeated to add more criteria to your search.
