The IP Enforcement Portal Forum — a virtual meeting in 2020 for the IP enforcement community

The IP Enforcement Portal Forum brings together the users of our tool, rights holders and enforcement authorities from all EU Member States, as well as representatives from the European Commission and Europol, to meet every 2 years and exchange ideas and best practices, and also to see how their interaction can be improved and, let’s not forget, to strengthen the role of the IP Enforcement Portal in this exchange.

This year, due to COVID-19, the IP Enforcement Portal community has to meet online. Under these circumstances networking can be difficult but, as cooperation and collaboration between the different stakeholders are key elements in the fight against IPR infringement, it was decided to still organise a virtual meeting to keep the community alive and strong.

If you’re looking to connect and network with the enforcement authorities of all EU Member States and to share and discuss your IP enforcement experience with other rights holders facing similar challenges,
don’t miss this year’s online IP Enforcement Portal Forum!

As the usual exhibit and workshops won’t be possible, the Forum’s agenda has been adapted to a morning videoconference that will include breakout sessions.

This year’s Forum offers:

  • A virtual meeting between rights holders, enforcement authorities, European Commission representatives, Europol and OLAF,
  • the highlighting of the latest enforcement issues,
  • an exchange of best-practices during breakout sessions,

The working language of the event will be English.
