In November 2013, EUIPO sought to try to answer some questions about what EU citizens think about intellectual property, via the first ever EU-wide study on IP perception. In March 2017, a second study with many new questions was released. 26,555 people aged between 15 and 24 across 28 EU states were asked about their perception of intellectual property. 97% of respondents said they believe it is important that inventors, creators and performing artists can protect their rights and be paid for their work...
