In particular, the project wants to engage young consumers in creating knowledge and disseminating information related to the dangerous consumption of counterfeit goods. Considering the framework of the project, its specific objective is to engage a significant number of young consumers in all participating countries. In particular, the ultimate goal is to raise their awareness of the importance of IPR, the danger of counterfeiting and the risks of piracy. This will be tested and assessed through an ad hoc questionnaire. Four organisations from three EU countries are members of the project’s consortium: CODACONS, Italy; BNAAC, Bulgaria; CECU, Spain and ISES, Italy. The project began its activities with a virtual partners’ meeting. Partners are now working on the project’s website and developing the project’s handbook for informative sessions in schools, which will start in January 2022....Less

The content will be available in three European languages – Croatian, Slovenian and German. Prominent Croatian media company, 24sata, with its brand for younger audiences, JoomBoos, and the Croatian Composers’ Society, the leading Croatian collective management organisation for music authors’ rights, created a project called ‘Rap School’, a talent show for young hip-hop artists. Contestants could only use their own original lyrics and copyright-free beats, in accordance with the proper IPR regulations, when applying through the project’s webpage. Eighteen contestants have been chosen and are now competing for the title of ‘The new HIP HOP STAR’. The talent show’s episodes are published on the JoomBoos YouTube channel every Thursday...Less
