Academy
Established in May 2011, the Academy of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) encompasses all the learning and educational activities for our staff, staff of the intellectual property (IP) offices of the European Union (EU), the EUIPO's users, academia and the public at large.

At the EUIPO we believe that a learning environment drives continuous improvement in performance. This is why the Academy's first priority is to accompany our staff in a career-long learning path, as well as building the EUIPO's capacity and reputation as a centre of excellence in IP.
Externally, the Academy forms a vital part of the European Trade Mark and Design Network. The learning and knowledge-sharing activities of this network bring together staff from EU national and regional IP offices, as well as IP specialists from across the European Union.
The Academy has developed a training catalogue with a wealth of learning materials, from training in general IP topics to specific courses covering all aspects of trade mark and design registration.
We also work in partnership with other international institutions like the European Patent Academy and the WIPO Academy.
