About Relio²
The ‘Relio²’ is a professional lamp ecosystem engineered to emit a light comparable to sunlight, in terms of purity, concentration and colour rendition. It improves colour clarity by making the subtlest chromatic variations more apparent to cameras and the naked eye.
Portable, transformable and modular, it is manufactured and fully hand-assembled in Italy for use in the Arts and Science disciplines. Its patented shape-shifting, multi-unit mounting system accommodates a variety of uses such as cinema, painting or education.
It can be configured as a desktop lamp, a laboratory illuminator, a cinematic lighting system, a ceiling or shelf lamp or a portable, miniaturised lighting set. Relio² accessories and spares can be 3D-printed at home, and the original 3D models of Relio² are downloadable by everyone, free of charge.
About the designer
Marco Bozzola is the owner and designer of Relio². He defines himself as an inventor, product engineer and full-stack developer. He is passionate about reverse-engineering, teaching and project management and has a degree in IT Security.
Bozzola has been working on LED solid-state-lighting since 2012. Among his products are scientific illuminators, optical collimation systems (which accurately adjust the line of sight) and automotive hardware devices.
