Procurement procedures launched in the framework of EU-funded projects
In the framework of its strategy to engage in cooperation activities outside the EU, the EUIPO has become the Implementing Agency for various EU-funded projects in non-EU countries.

In the framework of these projects, procurement procedures are carried out using the provisions of the EU Financial Regulation, as referred to in the Office´s Financial Regulation, as well as using the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation.
Furthermore, please refer to the explanations outlined in the Practical Guide on Contract Procedures for European Union External Action (PRAG) which is available here from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG INTPA).
